There's a fair bit bashing companies so i thought I'd share a good experience. Sent my 5 year old polar heart monitor off for battery service. They got it on a Friday and it landed on my door mat on Saturday. There was a small problem with it after the service so called them up and spoke to a real person who asked me to send it back. Again, they got it Friday and I had a brand new watch under warranty in my hands on Saturday.
So well done to Polar & Royal Mail for the great & efficient service.
Credit where credit's due - I had a similar experience with Polar this week too.
Battery was definitely starting to fade. Posted off to Polar on Monday, got it back on Thursday. I always thought that Polar HRs with non user accessible batteries would be a real ballache - but was very pleasantly surprised here.
I sent some sensors back to have new batteries fitted. I was more than happy to pay for the service as I had bought the kit second hand and I did not expect to be covered under any warranty.
They were sent back with new batteries FOC.
