You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I started playing pokemon in June with my 9v and 7 yo girls. The aim was as motivation to get them on walks, as a way to earn their beavers/cubs collectors badges, and as a way to get their map reading skills improving. 15 weeks on they are addicted, it's something we enjoy together, and I'm enjoying it too.
Any other players here? Anyone want to share tips? We reached level 33 last week, tonight we managed to evolve our first dynamax charizard and our first dynamax venosaur, both 3 star. Progressing well I think although coming to understand some of the newbie mistakes we've made along the way. When we got the charizard we had to try a 3 star falinks dynamax battle and..... promptly got smushed.
At level 33 will it be possible to take a falinks or beldum? We've got decent dubwools, gredents and a chameleon as well, plus enough candy that the new dynamax scorbunny, grokey and soble won't take us long to evolve to end of line.
Or is soloing these 3 star dynamax pokemon just beyond us until we get to higher levels?
I play, have done on and off since it came out but recently got back into it. Millennial with no kids, but grew up playing Pokémon on Gameboy. Friend code is 008595635158 if you want another friend.
Level 37 here and got flattened by a falinks earlier, I think it's like higher levels gym raids where you need a few of you to make it viable to win. Especially as you can't revive during the fight, unlike gym raids.
Ta. I might take you up on that friend. It's a mechanism we've not used yet and from what I've read it's an easy way to earn XP.
I found some Brandon Tan on you tube, and other top players, soloing 3 star beldum with a single level 40 charizard. A power spot with several assisting pokemon from other trainers must help.... so a day one attempt on a falinks was a bit hopeful although I think we had 2 assistants in the power spot. Kept charizard until last, only got our first dynamax half way into charizard and the 3 max moves hardly touched falinks.... clearly the wrong set of 'mon and wrong moves! Much to learn.
And as I'm on the bus to work playing, I've now got a 3 star dynamax rillaboom. So the capable dynamax 'mon in the 'dex are building. I might have another go at a falinks if I happen upon a spot with several other assisting 'mon.
How are you fairing cleets? We are 3 days away from our 4 month playing anniversary and will either reach level 34 that day or within a couple more. We will by then have 500 pokemon in the pokedex too. Our aim initially was just to collect as many different ones as possible but I'm now aware of IVs and try to find 3 star mon before evolving one.. although with 498 in the dex currently, oodles of Shinx candy and our strongest a mere 1 star the pressure to hit 500 by our anniversary may force my hand.
On dynamax I've stayed away from the falinks although I have read it's possible even with level 20ish mon (significantly powered up max moves though). Annoyingly almost every power spot I see now has falinks! The 1 star spots are few and far between, but I managed to get into enough to earn the squirtle candy we needed to get evolve our wartotle so we've a 3 star blastoise. In fact we've 3 star versions of all the mon that came from 1 star power spot starters, just no falinks or beldum family. I'm trying to decide where to invest the candy next...a second charizard from our chameleon or level up the max moves on our existing? I could turn a dubwool into a bit of a damage sponge with powered up max defence, or spirit with a few more candy, and level up the attack on charizard and keep working to get a rillaboom or venosaur levelled up in the future.... maybe a damage sponge and half decent charizard could take a falinks?
Making progress is getting mich harder now.
Level 44 here, my boyfriend is level 42 and we just about managed Falinks together. Beldum was easier, but not possible to solo for either of us.
My friend code is 324761455346 if anyone wants to add 🙂
Cheers.
Has anybody caught a 3 star nidoran? I've the candy to double evolve one a as the last task on the timed research that ends tonight but all those I've caught have been zero or one star! Obviously I'll evolve one before tonight's deadline but..
Opened the thread wonding if my 6yo might be interested in Pokemon Go but have stumbled across people speaking a new language. What's the learning curve like and is it enough to just want to explore and find new pokemons?
@stevious - that's all I do. Had an account since my son was about 7 and played it on my phone - he's long since given up on it, and I've just carried it on, level 40 and do some of the daily tasks etc but no real ambition or big challenges.
I find it quite fun... ?
Definitely. As I said in the op, I've 9 amd 7yo girls (plus a 4yo boy). I started as motivation for them to come for a walk, motivation for me to get extra walks in, to simply collect pokemon and earn the girls their beavers/cubs collectors badges, and if they picked up a bit of map reading skill by osmosis that is great. I even set the beaver colony I help at the task to play for the summer and earn their badges (beavers are 6 to 8yo)
Only 3 of 24 beavers did it but my two are addicts and I've come to enjoy it both as something we share and for doing it myself. It's only over the last few weeks that I've thought more about 'good' pokemon and battles, game strategy and such like, which is when I started this thread. The biggest satisfaction from the game remains simply catching new ones (much harder now but still get a new one several times a week or more). When I caught two new 'shiny' pokemon this week my eldest was beside herself! (Shiny is just a different colour and rare, 1/64 of most types are shiny.... but collectors get very excited. ?♂️)
Getting started is very easy, just load the game on your phone and start walking, spin the 'stops' to collect balls, berries and other things you need, and catch pokemon by tapping them then 'throwing a ball'. Easy. Then ask here if you want to know what berries do, how to throw a curve ball, how to do other stuff .... ask here?
Friend requests sent to Hannah and Cleets from 353625478690
And for @stevious if you use this referral code
QJ6GBXDX2
(How I'm not sure) to join poke4 go, as you progress I'll earn stuff in the game apparently...... sorry... new to this 'friend stuff'
Sorry, that shouldn't read poke4 go, it should read pokemon go.
Had a fun morning wondering about in the rain catching a few this morning. Going to keep it simple for now but might look into friends and referrals and suchlike if the enthusiasm sticks. Thanks for the advice all.
Level 41 here, managed to zip thru it getting the legacy 40 medal just in time, slowed down a bit now, like trying to get the legendary, lucky and shiny, and the more elusive 100% 4* My code 4966 2402 6548
Friend request sent to nogs. I need to go spin stops and get gifts as I'm too used to binning them to manage my storage!
I can imagine slowing down very soon as it's harder. It's a massive jump from 1 star raids and powerspots which are just easy, to 3 star, and feels like getting better at those is a long way off. Although just steadily collecting more new mon, or now I've learnt to pay attention to iv, just slowly replacing weaker mons for stronger. My my the stardust and candy I invested in some true donkeys just because they had cp.
Does anyone know how max guard actually works? Does it need to be used once the power meter is full? I'd assumed it just worked from the start but my damage sponge idea was....unsuccessful!
We are there, level 34, or will be once I take the xp from some research.... I'm banking it before dropping an egg currently.
Tips please, I'm about to embark on months of walking with a magikarp buddy to get the candy to evolve it. I know I need to play with it so it's mood is good to reduce the mileage per candy, any thing else I can do? Should I just use rare candy? Not that I have any having just created 100 cosmetics candy. I seem to see about 1 'karp spawn per week currently.
I started playing it with my son a few years ago, he's 14 now and we still go out together to play a few times a week, it's still on a screen but at least you have to go outside and walk around rather than him just gaming on his PC in his bedroom. I tried to get him interested in cycling but it was never his thing so nice to have something else we do together.
I'm level 49 now so a bit further along the journey, we've been to Go Fest in London and Madrid together over the last couple of years so had some nice experiences off the back of playing the game.
For something that seems like a fairly basic concept it has some really clever game design in that there's always something else to do even after year of playing whether it's trying to find the shinies, the perfect IV's, the regional locked Pokemons or trying to get all your Platinum medals.
On the magikarp, I wouldn't use your rare candies on that, save them for when you want them for the legendary and mythical Pokemon. Adventure sync makes the earning candies by walking much quicker.
Thanks, I'd read that.
Oh and cosmetics above was suppose to be cosmoen..... rare candy on the legendary.
My 7 y/o is really into Pokemon at the moment and loves playing it. The problem I find is that although you are out for a walk, he doesn't look up from the screen and just keeps stopping on the street! He isn't taking anything in from his surroundings as is so consumed with what is on the screen. It really puts me off giving him my phone to play it when we are out and about.
I recognise that issue! I have to be quite firm with my two and sometimes ignoring the 'daddy can I hold your phone?/ can I do this battle?/ can I catch that?' Can get tiring. We do have some nice sessions though... I've come to realise a pokemon hunt is not the same as a walk.
Okay who's the level 46 pixie that I've accepted the friend request from? I assume it's one of you?
Is there a plusle and shoomish event on? They are everywhere! If m I've caught 2 shiny plusle, it's not possible to trade over distance is it? One going spare if it is.
Top tip. Don't completely the timed event research running currently and leave the last reward to claim later.....i did this yesterday and it disappeared when the research ended. Oops.
OOoooo! Dynamax Gastly! OK, one down, 62 candies in stock...... plenty of pinaberrues.... so about 12 to catch and ...Gengar!
We're up to 2 inteleon, charizard, gredent, cinderace, dubwool, 1 rillaboom (plus a thwackey ), blastoise, and venosaur (plus ivy). However, still no falinks. If beldum comes back to powerspots I reckon we'd have a chance now but probably missed out there.
After using an egg yesterday to collect some rewards and evolve a pile of 'mon we are half way to level 35 and have 520 'mon in the pokedex.
With the current go rocket 'mon we're picking up a lot of shadow 'mon, and I saw a brandon tan youtube showing 0 iv shadow 'mon are stronger then the equivalent pure hundo at the same level. So I think we may have to adjust the make up of our battle teams.....again.
Oh and Thanks to all friends, I'm enjoying having a use for gifts! My eldest is also intent on scatterbug/vavillon collecting now too, so postcards useful!
Good luck Morpeco hunting!
OOoooo, I think either Hannah or Cleets just sent a gift that included a 'continental' postcard, happy daughter now excited to have started towards another region scatterbug, thank you.
From the Netherlands? That was me. 🙂
@neilnevill what's your trainer name? I have a gift left from when I was on holiday in Egypt, I'll fire that over next time for you
thanks! We are BeaverLiberty.
Got it, thanks Hannah, and thanks misteralz
Gigantamax! Charizard, venosaur and blastoise all on show here... seems all the local power spots have gone 6 star..... i'll be keeping my distance unless I happen across some other trainers. It would be handy if you could message other local/ nearby trainers to arrange a raid battle! I managed to get a dynamax gengar evolved though while there have been Gastly everywhere.
I just got a zorua. Saw a shadow monkey in the wild and thought, 'E h? Wild spawn shadow 'mon?' Caught it....ahhhh! That makes 526 in the dex and we have 4 or 5 new ones we can evolve. Oh I've just caught our first morpecko too, from a daily research encounter.
Beldum is back in powerspots and I just got one! To charizard (1700 and 1600) and a gengar did it. Fairly sure the gym had no helpers, the better 'zard, got the meter powered up 4 or 5 times and I maxed the gengar to deal the blows. I then left the zard there and tried to repeat at a second gym with the weaker zard, inteleon with max spirit and gengar, that was close but failed. I'll go back later with both zards.
Wow! Beldum solo! I've evolved to metang and now need more candy.
It wasn't luck, I got a second one. 1747cp 'zard with no additional max moves is plenty strong enough to charge the power meter 4 times and might manage more if the p'spot has enough helpers. Then gengar with the max moves, job done. Now to get ~175 candy and evolve these 2 beldum to metagross.
With beldum back, and skwovert I've also seen, I'm hoping squirtle returns. I would like a second blastoise but in my rush to get my first I transferred all my other squirtle, oops.
Are there any etiquette rules to community events? I'm thinking i might pitch up with my daughters to the next one at Crystal palace park, see if we can have some fun, make a few more buddies, exchange a few pokemon, and compete some party challenge research, as well as join some big enough teams to try some legendary raids or even some gmax battles. I watched mystic7 on YouTube and it seems gmax battles need 30 or so trainers to succeed!
After some leave and some wfh it's first day in the office for a while, so I'm in the bus grifting hard. Bag filled, loads of banana fed to mon in gyms for the star dust and bag space, and loads of mon caught ... I need more storage again.
Seem to be loads of zorua about and I caught another ditto so I've to trade if anyone is stuck on that research task. Dunno if they spawn in certain places but that's the send
Second outside Waterloo underground in a few weeks.
Office again and now walking about Victoria where I can see a few gigantamax gengar spots. For a moment I thought about joining the one with 12 in the lobby but then.....no! I'm off to find another beldum.
Levelled up! Now 35, and just in time as tomorrow my eldest, youngest and I plan to hit the Crystal palace gigantamax gengar event. Hopefully the 80 others signed up will be welcoming! By good fortune we currently have 540 max particles, so as the 1080 max that can be collected, and the 800 that are added for doing the event..... the target is clearly 3 gigantamax gengar ? (that's a crying laughing emoji if it didn't come out). Oh yeah, I've got today's raid pass saved up too, so a couple of 5 star raid legendary would be great too.
In reality, I'll be carrying my 4yo in a carrier on my back and he'll likely get bored after an hour, but my 9yo is very excited and we can go to the playground once little brother can't take anymore..... but if we bag one thing we can't get alone we can celebrate with cake shop visit.
Oh yes...I got my squirtle today! Yay!
That was quite fun! My 7yo was off at a party and I had my 4yo in a carrier on my back, and my 9yo who thoroughly enjoyed it. My 4yo lasted 2 hours before boredom and hunger got the better of him but we'd already used all our max particles....24000! Oh yes! In big groups gigantamax Gengar isn't that hard 🙂 ? So we now have 3! Plus we completed 4 party challenges so under way on that research.
The eldest wants to go again already so I guess pogo at Crystal palace will be something we do a bit more.
I saw nogs107 you caught a cosmog! Was that the special research? AFAIK, there have only ever been 2 research tasks what lead to a cosmog encounter and one of those was an event 4 or 5 years ago. So keep moggy safe and choose which of the 2 evolution forms you want (day or night). We did night and are trying to find a friend to trade for a day form to add to the dex.
I've found 3 cosmog in my time... I've evolved to both Cosmogologic and Solgaleo BUT I transferred the Solgaleo by mistake!!! I'm currently planning to evolve a Cosmoem to another Solgaleo, it's 20km of walking to get a candy so I'm just using all the rare candy I find so it's going to take some.
I'm also trying to evolve Larvatus which will also take a while as I've only seen these come from eggs. All 3 Cosmog's came at the end of challenges and I'm not expecting to see any/many more.
Working to Level 43.
Oddly re the above my Cosmogologic comes up as Lunaleo in the Pokedex but I'm darned if I can remember renaming it but maybe my son did?
Maybe it's been changed by niantic? Or.... could it change as it gets levelled up? Ours it's Lunala (1710cp). So different again!
3 eh? OK, my research was wrong. Still, I don't expect another very soon!
Been playing for a few weeks with my kids now. My 6yo is loving it and now we have some ground rules I'm really enjoying heading out and taking pikachu out for a walk. I'm purposely not getting too much into having any particular goals in the game - we're currently just having fun just taking things on as we find them. I had a great time with him today strolling along a lovely autumnal lane while he chatted away about all the stuff he's learned about Pokemon.
It's a slippery slop if it catches hold, but it's great fun doing something with your kids where they can be better, and know more than you. My 9yo seems to have memorised an entire pokemon encyclopaedia that got bought!
Catch of the day here....shiny Halloween Gengar! Like many shiny.... its identical to the normal bar the background ... but shiny is rare so it's special. Caught from a daily research challenge (win a raid).
Last night got better! Go battle league gave me a Lugia encounter! 1 legendary 5 star raids boss now in the 'dex! 2 happy kids when shown this morning.
How's everyone getting on? I'm exactly half way to levelling up to 36, 547 'mon in the dex and about 8 new ones ready to evolve. With 24 friends to level up the xp is zooming along.
I've discovered poke genie as a decent app to help pick out counters/battle parties. These are getting much easier now I've several level 33 to 37 mon.
I happened to get off tnt bus home about 5 minutes before the lugia raid event at Crystal Palace park so joined but only for one raid as I hadn't much time. It's easy when you are in a big party. However my lugia burst out all 12 balls. Oh well.
I've managed to evolve myself a dmax metagross at last and am half way to evolving a second. Still waiting on falinks to show up again to see of my level 35 and 36 gmax gengar can take it down.
Ah yes, I've also got my head around tanking, as a way to get stardust. Still never enough.
Some continued good luck, second shiny pumpkaboo (although I've caught so many pumps I deserve that), a few minutes later a shiny venomat, now venomoth, and hatched a salandit (according to mystic7 they're rare).
I'm now on the hunt for giovani, so a new legendary in bound soon.
Giovanni dispatched and shadow Heatran captured, much to my eldest daughter's pleasure!
I can't get to fight Gio again now can I? Until a new research task that gives a super rocket radar.... next season?
Is it worth stocking 3 standard radars in the mean time?
There are typically four Giovanni events per year. And yes, you can absolutely save up the Super Radars - my youngest does. I think he's got three at the moment, as all this year (or in the past year) Giovanni's just had Reggies. Shadow Heatran is much cooler.
I wouldn't bother with buying and stacking the normal radars. If you have any in your item bag then you don't get mysterious components from the grunts until they're gone. I tend to ignore the leaders until I've got an egg space, which works out reasonably well - by the time I've walked off a 12k egg I've beaten another six grunts anyway.
Got it, if Gio doesn't have a legendary then stock the srr for the next season but you can't stock normal radars and building them only takes a short while anyway. Makes sense.
I see dmax drilbur in some stops here, hopefully I can find plenty over the next 3 days and catch a couple of good ones to evolve. Not sure when Toxtricity arrives but we need to build the team to tackle it/him/her.
How you all getting on? I've evolved 2excadrill from good iv drilbur, boosted one to 24.5 and the other to 28. TMs used to get mud slap and scorching sands which apparently is the best move set. Today my m particles went on upping the dmax moves, the best is now level 2 strike and 1 spirit. I've plenty of candy and xl candy so as long as I hit the daily max particles collection limit every day I'll get that one to max and level 2, and the second to level 2 and 1 at least... and probably both up a little more boost on the basic cp/level..... also depending on doing enough pvp to get the dust.
Planning on doing go wild with the Crystal palace pogo for a bit on Saturday and possibly Sunday. Thursday and Friday will be about trying to ensure we start Saturday with as close to 1280 particles as possible, and 300 ready to claim, so 2 gmax battles are straightforward and third may be possible before we have to leave. I'll try to save our p coins for the next week too so we could buy m particles if we choose, although the daily collection limit increases to 1600 (4x300 + 3x120 +300= 1860 in practice i guess.... othercombinations are possible buti think it's always 1560 max, plus 300) for Saturday and Sunday so with good planning and keeping a very careful track of the order and amount collected and used, it should be possible to do 3 gmax battles Saturday and carry 740 ish into Sunday. Collection of another 1860 or close and we'd fit in another 3 gmax battles Sunday anyway. My 9yo is quite excited.
Forecast is for solid rain all weekend but my eldest and I are planning to do go wild for a couple of hours each day, with the Crystal palace pogo community ambassador. I've worked hard for a couple of weeks to prep for gmax toxtricity. 2 big hitters, strong excadrill one lvl 31 with max max quake and lvl2 spirit, one lvl 25 with lvl 2 guard and spirit, and the team is completed by a metagross. I know many at the event will have 3 lvl 40 ish excadrill but I've worked hard on that team and confident i could do no more, and confident they will contribute at least our fair share, if not plenty more. If that proves to be the case I won't feel guilty being carried on some Palkia and Dialga raids... if we can fit some in to the short time we are able to play each morning!
Hope the rest of you have time to play a bit and get something good....a mighty 'mon perhaps.
Good fun! had to dash early when my little girl started to get cold and hangry, but in 95 mins we got two gmax toxtricity (one shiny!) And one of each form, a mighty luxray (in an ultra ball), a Groudon, kyroge, dialga and a shiny palkia from raids! Very exciting.... we are still very new to 5 star raids. Did another kyroge but failed to catch it and failed to catch another palkia (phone getting wet in the rain, I switched it off to wipe it as ball throws were a struggle, and on opening the phone again it had booted me out the catch sequence, annoying but a great day overall.
We've come away with the check in research battle pass and max particles canister unused, will they be disappearing at 1815 or can I use them tomorrow? Hope so!
If you manage nothing more, play for the last hour tomorrow and by a couple of gyms you hold! I got out again with my younger daughter and every gym spin gave a team bonus bucket full of stuff and probably at least twice as many safari balls per hour as first thing. 5 or 6. The mighty mon spawn rate went nuts with 30 Ish mins to go and although we missed out on 2 or 3 pidgeot, a pair of vene-somethings and maybe more, we did get a lvl 37 tyrantrum and... .drum role..... a lvl 44 gyarados! Best catch of the day, and two girls keen to go out again tomorrow.
Nice one! Caught a couple of Toxicitries but that was it. Lost my only safari ball when it ****ted off a Golem's head. It wasn't a day for Pokéing here, so after getting cold I went home for a bath.
Well another 2 hours done with the eldest. Windy but thankfully dry and warmer than yesterday so we played a little longer. 5 more gmax toxtricity, another palkia, diagla and Groudon! Less luck with mighty mon, just 1 venosaur... but hope to do the last 30 mins so may get more. Only had one safari ball today but seemed to get more later in the day yesterday.
My girls will be working on arranging trades with their friends now we have some spare gmax and spare legs.
I best charge the phone again! Hmm, I wonder if I can solo a dmax tox with the particles I have left.... so long as it doesn't have power punch I reckon my excadrill team should give it a bettering, but my my, gmax with that move were more touch and go even with 30+ people. And the difference between an excadrill and the 2nd best counter (metagross) was huge too. We definitely pulled our weight and more today... numerous venosaur even popping up in the battles. Come on people, metagross, rillaboom then drilbur are all better counters!
Another couple of events done with the local meet up. Cold today! Gmax Lapras was HARD! I'd worked hard to prep a team to be proud of again though as had everyone else and set had the perfect 40 so down they went. Annoyingly the first became my first d/gmax failed catch, but got 2 decent ones after that. Mid week eldest and I did the venesection raid hour and got a few of those. Level 37 now and up to 613 mon with as lot of new ones about since the new season started.
Hoping the rumours of new cosmog research could be true...necrozma raid hour next week.
Oh and...I am very VERY VERY proud to announce, we solo'd falinks dmax. It took a dozen or more attempts, tweaking the team and strategy before success with 2 gmax and a dmax gengar. Then used the trial mushroom to do it again. Feel like my max team is quite something to be admired now, although it's got room for improvement still.
How's everyone doing? We hit level 38 this morning and I am currently mad grinding dmax ❄️ in preparation for the dmax Zapdos! To say I'm excited by dmax galarian birds would be an understatement. I also fear it will be incredibly hard, but the Crystal palace pogo group is well established and we are getting ourselves organised! Thankfully I'd been gripped by the challenge of soloing cryogonal weeks ago and had built the team to achieve it so I'm in a good position for articuno and to grind for zapdos already.... although finding 3 cryogonal everyday is about as hard as taking them down .... this is a challenge I enjoy though!
Anyone else got one yet? I did 3 in 3 tried yesterday. The prep went well. Feeling confident for 2 and 3 now. Still grinding ❄️ though.
Anybody else get a zapdos? I thought it harder than articuno but got 5 from about 9 attempts. It was a bit hectic so not entirely sure but I think one of those was as a group of 3 carrying someone being greedy and attacking with a zapdos! Still, I got what I wanted. Just moltres now but also gmax kingler on Saturday... not sure if I'll manage that as well, maybe, it would be nice to get a couple.
You play very differently from me. I have so little interest in the battling! Currently stuck on Level 43 because you have to do some ridiculous number of league battles and I so cannot be arsed.
I'm not that interested in the raids although my daughters are and it's the main way to get the legendary pokemon (although I've been very lucky with pvp emcounters netting me 10 since mod Nov) I do enjoy the d and gmax stuff though. Largely as it appeared when I was still at a very low level but as a new mechanic in the game I realised I could build a team almost as quickly as a lvl 40 to 50 trainer. So I've put effort into that. Other then the first round of gmax stuff I've got all the rest, and have become the defacto max mentor for the local group. It is a part of the game that needs a tiny bit more planning and the battles have much more tactics....I mean, it's still mindless tap tap, but the hard dmax need a team with tanks and attackers, and ideally roles across the group to super tank, attack or heal. So a bit more than raids.
Level 43 I see! Not far from 44 by xp. We reach BFs in 7 days.
BTW @misteralz I assume you know pvp is about the best way to farm dust? Just get one win per set then bin the other 4 matches for speed, repeat for your 6 sets each day.
I've been playing it for years, I've got millions of dust. ?
Sorted then.
How are people going? We are still enjoying it. My eldest (9yo girl) is obsessed and seems to know all the strengths and weaknesses, my middle one (7yo girl) has bored of it a bit but will still come out for an event for an hour or so, sometimes. My youngest (4yo boy) is similar.
1 year and 1 week since startup we will hit level 42 this weekend...except I'm waiting for comm day to catch a load more eevee before I do my last 4 eeveelutions. Naming trick making those easy.
Tbh I'm not that fussed on levels since hitting 40. I can build a mon as strong as anyone else now so....
Still very much enjoying max battles and have a strong squad of g and dmax. Do some raids if I can with the local meet up in Crystal palace park but they aren't really my thing....although Zamazenta and zacian will be very strong on max battles so I'll aim to do a few of those.
806 pokemon in the dex. A few i can get by evolution too. 8 platinum medals and getting close on a few more.
Also still ftp except, had 2 friends want shiny max mons id caught as guarantee lucky so they bought my deluxe track go pass last 2 months, and another is (for some reason) collecting as many urshifu as possible so he bought me the special research and will use a trinket to ensure its decent when transferred. That went rather well for me...my first kibfu was OK (708cp, 15 attack) but the second was a 98! That did however reset my urshifu evolution tasks as I'm now working 'futwo' .... I have a long way to go on that!
Oh and loving having lots of 'best friends' now as I've gone lucky with a couple. If was great to mirror trade a shiny gmax machamp (aka 'Hulk!') On a guaranteed lucky, and having gone lucky with a mate today we have decided to wait for go fest and the zacian and Zamazenta raids in the hope of something similar. It's nice knowing I don't need to catch a good one, although a shiny would be nice.
