Loved the pogues for donkeys years. Now they're back together with MacGowan singing and touring the UK in December I wouldn't mind going to see them in Glasgow.
Shane is clearly a bit of a wreck these days. Will it be totally gash?

I'd dearly love to see them on form, performing well, but I fear that the opportunity to do that may have gone sometime in the late 80's..

Yes go. They were brilliant last time round. Shane didn't look too great but performed brilliantly!

I think i'm off to the Manchester one this year.

Am looking forward to Leeds Academy,

I reckon it'll be a great show with or without Shane

Go. Have been to their Christmas gig at Brixton academy several times now - last year being the most recent - and they have never disappointed. Shane is not as f***ed up as he would appear and the band are tighter than ever. Cheesy as it sounds, the moment when they hit the middle eight on Fairytale of New York will bring a lump to anyone's throat = I think it's Jem Finer's daughter who does the Kirsty McColl part these days. Has really become part of our festive celebrations, but will be missing this year due to the arrival of our little one.
