I had a look on some vaguely leftie sites this morning (Guardian. Independent and Socialist Worker) and found no prominent mention of the PM's break.

No DD, but the very pro-Tory Daily Mail and Sun newspapers appear to be outraged.

More anti-Cameron press I suspect, he's not anti Europe enough and he's pro gay marriage. The Tory heartland seem to be in apoplectic kneejerk meltdown. I predict a continued effort to remove him as leader in the months to come.

What's happened here is that a certain Australian media owner has decided that Dave isn't right wing enough for his liking, so has withdrawn his support. In fact, he's declared war on him! Expect him to roundly endorse Gove, May, Hunt or whichever of his pets tacks furthest to the right, in an attempt to out-UKIP Farage, then starts making noises about leadership elections

Yeah! Gove for PM! You saw it here first!
