They use the EE network so the coverage is quite good and that was what led me to them (other vendors/carriers struggle round here)

Switchover was quick and hassle free

1 bill query was answered quickly

No other hassles in circa 3 months (not really long enough for a real 'test')

I think they offer discounts for joint mobile and home broadband, but I am about to switch away from them not he home broadband for price reasons - new customers always seem to get the best prices so I switch every few years)

On EE so network should be OK for coverage / speed - but my understanding (and what swung it for me to go raw EE) was that they don't support some of the additional features like WIFI calling which are essential where I live. They also don't get the very fastest 4G speeds, but I'm not convinced I've noticed any benefit from that even in prime areas like central London where it should be a bonus.

Been on their broadband (via Force9 acquisition) for so long I can't remember not using them - maybe 20 years?? Their tech support has been excellent on that side, prepared to cover of quick and easy fix attempts (router replacement for price of postage) up to troubleshooting what protocols were screwing my outbound traffic which creates a secondary download performance issue on ADSL particularly (hint: Apple devices) - getting their view of our traffic alongside my own monitoring was really useful.

Been with them for just over a year, no problems. Saw they had a better deal on Black Friday and they moved me to that quickly.

Had a couple of issues when I first moved to them about twelve months back but they were resolved quickly and my account was credited for the inconvenience. Coverage s fine where I live, far better than my old provider (GiffGaff) in most places, to the point that I was able to use Plusnet 4G to stream TV (super league grand final) while away in our caravan. Some of their packages are good value, I'm no paying a fiver a month for 1.5gb data (doubt I'll need all that), 2000 minutes (doubt I'll use 10%) and unlimited texts.

Had a SIM only monthly rolling contract for a year or so now. A few call dropping problems to start with when they were new to the mobile business but efficiently sorted. No complaints at the moment. Their customer service is excellent in my experience, both for broadband and mobile.

I’m a happy plusnet broadband customer but decided not to use them for mobile as they don’t support short codes (or didn’t when I looked) Same with roaming as well

No problem roaming last summer (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy). I think the short code thing is still an issue though I've never had to use them.

Been fine here, but I was with Vodafone before so possibly not the best benchmark.

Short code is a no go, but I've been assured roaming is fine when I come to use it.

Any issues and queries have been resolved by people who knew what they were on about and could explain it.

you seem fairly emphatic about that Onza 🙂

I've also been assured roaming is fine, will let you know in a couple of weeks when I get to try it out

Calls are fine -EE network. Other comments about lack of wifi calls is a minor annoyance. Roaming has worked fine across Europe.

We have 3 contracts (wife and 2 kids) from the same bank account. Have been cut off multiple times as 'you haven't paid the bill' as their systems can't seem to understand 3 accounts = 3 monthly payments. Not sure we would go with them again.

Can't comment on the Broadband

I’ve been on plusnet mobile for about 6 months now. Previously was on EE. Reception quality and 4G speeds appear to be the same. WiFi calling works fine on my iPhone too. Roaming in US and Europe was working fine too.

The only downside was I didn’t get free WiFi in the London tube system as per normal EE users.

> What is ‘Short Code’?

5 digit numbers that you text or call for things like voting on tv shows or entering competitions etc

just back from a week in italy, once I'd worked out how to turn on data roaming on my phone I had no problems whatsoever. Calls, texts, data all worked perfectly

plus points are EE coverage (though I was giffgaff and Vodafone before).

Roaming is fine, have a son in DK and he manages no problem.

Can be hard to see how close to your limits you have got (need a dashboard app IMO). But that's same with their broadband, which is terrible at showing limits and email mailbox use).

I needed to upgrade one of our accounts (family of 4 kind of bundled together) and all accounts were upgraded with no hassle, so on a decent data, calls and texts plan for £5 each.

About 8 months in and all good . Roaming uses the call/text balance so if you have some very cheap .

Some good offers on plans if you keep and eye out and you can switch immediately.
