i've done quite a lot of this over the years and am almost at the point where i don't need to dry-fit stuff before glueing, but i still like to for peace of mind.
i'm after tips for dry-fitting, getting apart again, not having to dry-fit at all etc.
soapy water for 'wet-fit' which i then wash off? bit of faff. something else whch will evaporate but not touch pvc?
knocking fittings of with edge of a file or bit of wood? easier way?
etc etc.
