The hand-held spray hose thingy that is attached to our bath taps has a leak at the joint at the nozzle end - an o-ring has clearly become perished over the years. However there's no obvious way to get at it to replace the o-ring. I can however unscrew the nozzle itself and it looks like it can be unscrewed from the tap.
So, can I replace just the hose, or do I need a new spray nozzle? Or is there likely to be a trick to replacing the o-ring?
I'm not a plumber or a tap expert....but I think that shower hoses & heads come with the same size fitting on them, so they are broadly speaking, interchangeable.
What does it fit into; a wall attachment? Because the specific shape of the cone that slots into the attachment might be different, meaning a new hose/head won't fit into the original holder very well.
I'd just get a new hose, but try to stick to the original manufacturer, if possible.
That's why I wondered about hoses so I could keep the existing holder and head.
