[Closed] Plug adaptor with vertical offset - why can't I find one?

I'm trying to earn the boring topic of the week award here, but bear with me. I've a house full of old electrical sockets from when it was the norm to site them on the skirting board a gnats todger off the carpet. There's one socket that seems particularly low, that I need to run 2 devices from. When I use a standard adaptor the front facing socket is almost unuseable because of the bend it requires in the cable from a plug where the cable exits at the bottom (i.e. 99% of plugs).
I have been searching for an adaptor where the sockets are offset vertically so that there is more space under the socket - but it seems no one makes one. Is it just me that has this issue? Has everyone else had their houses re-wired with sockets at waist height? Or am I searching on the wrong term / in the wrong places?
Thanks.

Forgot to add, I've seen some T shaped ones which look okay, but I've no room for them in the space that the socket sits, I just want a standard 2 socket adaptor with about an inch or two of vertical offset.

Turn the socket upside down and use one of the T adapters - admitted that'll be upside down too.

What about three of these? One in the plug socket then two stacked vertically. It probably won’t catch fire?

Ignore that, it wouldn’t work

Would it be wrong to swap the socket round by 180 so the wire out let on the plug is then going upwards??

Just plug in a short extension lead? And shorten it's cable if it's too long.

Appreciate the suggestions, thought that 3 way switched adaptor would be okay but I've checked and there isn't enough room at the side for a plug to be pushed in, it's a double socket between a wall and another piece of furniture.
Don't really fancy an extension. Could flip the box I suppose but why is this so hard to find??? It's not the first time I've had this issue, but it's the first time I've thought surely this could be better with a simple solution.

Flip the socket 180 degrees, surely. 5 minute job.

Or something like this?
