I've recently discovered artists such as Brookes Brothers and London Elektricity. They are drum and bass style but a bit trance too. I quite like it, it's a bit different from Ndubz and One Direction and other white noise.

Which other groups do u think I might like that are a similar d and b style?

Thanks

Am enjoying having recently found Bonobo, might be worth a punt.

Check out Hospital Records, it's the main guy (the genuis Tony Colman) from London Elektricity's label. There's a podcast which is great but other artists I like from the stable are High Contrast, Netsky and Logistics.

Also search 'Liquid drum and bass' as that's what they call it. 😀

Well worth looking on youtube for London Elektricity full band live show from a few years ago, awesome musicians the lot of em!

A few of my faves:

Bit more dubstep but still liquidy, and an awesome way to test how deep your speakers go is the ridiculous drop at the beginning of:

There are some brilliant Solid Steel mixes which you might appreciate. Here's an amazing video mix.

Bit more London Elektricity, anything with Elsa Esmeralda (also on Just One Second) is going to be good!

This has been on my commuting playlist for ages...

I'm a big fan of Hospital Records 🙂

Check out:

Hospital Mix 4 & 5
High Contract Fabric 50
Sick Music 1
Hospital Podcast

and this: https://soundcloud.com/deegan/high-contrast-essential-mix-07

For balance I thought both of Danny Byrds albums were mostly shite and the recent output hasn't been up to the usual standard

I like that - Normally listen to trance/heavy metal with a bit of rave.

FabricLive 35 is a really good drum and bass mix from Marcus Intalex, quite old now, but my favorite mix of that genre and really worth a listen.

The last song on the mix is an amazing track.
