hi,
I have swap around kitchen and bedroom in my one bedroom flat. I have fitted gas boiler as well (done by qualified person) . I have never apply for any permission. Is it aright? Do I need one? What if I want to sell a flat?
Any one?
My friend told me it is very important to have a permission for any flat improvement job and I am freaking out now! 😛

You're thinking of building regs, rather than PP. As long as the boiler was fitted by a Gas Safe engineer and you haven't altered anything structurally IMO you'll be fine.

You can call the planning office at your local council if you want a definitive answer to make you sure you're ok. I've called my local guys before and they've been very helpful.

Agreed, more likely to be Building Regs than Planning. If your unsure have a look at the planning portal website. All the information your likely to need is on there. I'm guessing the flat isn't listed in anyway? If it is you maybe in a spot of bother.. however as long as you have the certificate that a registered person fitted the boiler etc then I guess your ok in that respect but I would check with building regs, especially in relation to fire protection etc due to being a flat.
