I'm just thinking about options for coffee making (Americano) while away in the campervan and/or camping pods. My initial thoughts was Aeropress, but I've now seen the Pipamoka and was just after some feedback/comparisons/alternatives.

Cheers

Not used the Pipamoka, but I have a Nanopresso (mainly for espresso in the van) which is made by the same people and it’s been great.

Pipamoka looks good for a longer coffee.

I have also have used a travel mug with integral French press, which I also like.

Pour-over Hario V40 here. Just works, easy clean up.

I love my Aeropress for the ease of cleaning and seemingly bombproofness of it.  For me it is the perfect fit and forget solution.

There is a new version of th Aerpress Go available now that comes with a double walled stainless steel cup that might be of interest for your needs?

I did look at the nanopress and similar but decided against as I prefer a larger volume.

I bought a Hario V60 because it was cheap.  Much prefer my aero press and the V60 lives in the box of camping stuff.  If I lost the V60 I wouldn't bother replacing it.

If you just want a black coffee, what's wrong with a cafetiere?
