I was so chuffed to find the Whistle Test set they did on Youtube.
Remember back in 1980, sat there with the cassette player in front of the TV trying to keep everyone quiet as I taped it.
Utterly brilliant

The Order of Death - what a superb track. First heard it in a Scifi film called Hardware.

I'm disappointed - was expecting a thread ranting about in-laws.

they were very good. what happened to keith levine ? as good as they were i still think their first offering was their high water mark, outstanding guitar and probably the first example of genre mixing i can think of with wobble's dub bass.

I know they cOntributed and shaped British music, but I can't stand them, specifically lyddon himself - talentless douchebag who is jumping on the let's reform bandwagon as the money from anchor has run out

My views on John Lydon are 180 from M6 above. THE musical hero IMO.

buying country life butter is metaphorically buying John lydon a pint,
From the pistols to PIL, I've had so much enjoyment from his music he deserves one,.. 😀

He took the butter ad to pay for PIL to reform himself so he could keep full creative licence.
