We have some white pigeons in the doocot.

They are pretty timid and spend their time flitting between their home and the sweep of the drive at the front of the house.

They are very keen on hiding under our cars and pecking around looking for oil leaks. So much so, they are looking like winged Dalmations.

This afternoon I was surprised to see them down at our neighbours pecking around where they park their cars looking again for oil spills.

What is attracting them to the oil?

Dirty pigeons, they love a bit of it...

Or is it a trick question involving magnetic pigeons and Castrol Magnatec?

Youd be lucky to get two strokes.

This was just a random joke based on the attraction thing, but thinking about it, pigeons do have magnetoception...

Even if it isn't Castrol Magnatec, could metallic particles in the oil be fluxing with their tiny brains?

Maybe some insects get stuck in the oil? Sorry about the lack of puns.
