2 days in a row was a bad idea (now feeling very broken!) but a nice whizz down by the canal (just under 2 miles today - go me! 😛 ) for me today...

Manc to Lanc, flat blast up the A6 on the road. Lovely smooth tarmac from Preston to Lancaster, a tout vitesse...

Woke up this morning all confused, lying next to a lake on Dartmoor....

[img] [/img]

....and very suprised to find Shinythings playing with my rod....

[img] [/img]

Apparently he'd been thrashing away on it for hours with no results 😯

[img] [/img]

All in all though, it was a cracking weekend for a bivi ride 🙂

Went out around the South Downs and Queen Liz today on the new bike. Couldn't believe how dusty the trails were. endomondo let me down, was constantly telling me it had lost signal yet still managed to plot a rough map!

We had an epic day around the Bienn a Ghlo loop. The trails are powder dry, that's right, dusty in Scotland in March. Nae pics, the others had cameras, I'll poach some later.
