shins are absolutle fair game. especially if you're wearing white socks.

elbows and forearms whilst at work, wearing a white shirt, can be dangerous, unless you're quick with a tissue.

My best scabs were when I skint my shin from knee to ankle and had great sheets of lovely thin scab to peel off and consume. Like uber delicate beef jerkey....
