Hi all,

Looking for recommendations for a physio around the east midlands (I'm in Derby) - I've had surgery on both shoulders in the past and would like a "check up" and some guidance on exercises.

Cheers!
Duane

go see these guys on Pride Park

http://www.impactphysio.co.uk/

I went 3 days before the London Marathon in 2014. I was on the verge of pulling out due to knackered legs. After an hour of having my legs pummelled I felt like a new man!

I went on to win the Marathon that weekend....

I've used Seth O'Neill in Keyworth and would recommend him. That's if you can get to see him when he's not lecturing or doing research.

I used to live in Derby and was a happy customer here http://footkneeandbackclinic.co.uk in Long Eaton. Steve is excellent.

Can't find his number now but call the Climbing Station in Loughborough and ask for the number of the Spanish guy who works from there.
Specialised in shoulder/back.

Duane,

There is a physio upstair in Park Cycleworks (Cathedral Green in town)
Might be worth popping in there first, my wife had a free 10 minute consultation (yes I am aware how wrong that could sound!) for her heel after a netball injury, might be thats all you need
Specialises in cycling so any exercises more likely to be tailored

(edit - looks like the physio page on the Park website is dead but still maybe worth checking if your in town)

As Iain mentioned above there's a physio (Andy) at park bike works who also works for About Backs n Bones based on A6 at Darley Abbey.
He sorted out my knee problems last year.
Would recommend him.

Thanks all, will give Andy a ring.

I'm hoping to go snowboarding in about 6 weeks time, and am pretty scared of dislocating a shoulder, so am trying to figure out how to get my shoulder as stable as possible as quickly as possible.
