What are the cool kids using now.... Is it still a physical card or digital?

Give me some of the best options for low volume requirements!

I've had work off the back of them, in a digital-first world (commercial photography) so I'd say definitely. If anything the rarity of them stands you apart

Decent stock (any 'premium' will do) and - to my preference anyway - matte laminated look and feel best. If you're a banker, by all means go super thick, foil stamp etc, but I'm not sure being flashy is always best..

Love that video ^

Yes, absolutely still a thing. I’m doing building work at home this week with my mate who is a pro with a white van and everything, and twice this last couple of days a passing neighbour has collared me or him for a card. Mrsmidlife who is a lawyer has just had her new batch through and says they are as much used as ever, though these days they get scanned when back at the office rather than stuck in a filing system.

I guess it's industry dependent, but working in digital, they don't seem to be popular.
It's all about the LinkedIn profiles now.

Not in my industry. I've got a box of them somewhere but haven't used them in at least 10 years. If I meet someone at a conference or workshop that I don't know then we just swap emails or linked in details on our phones. I work with Europeans and North Americans mostly. Might be different in parts of Asia?

In Japan, yes. I go through at least 50 per week work trip. Not so much in the uk now though…

Yeah but NFC one with a QR, all they need to do is save the detais that pop up into the phones contacts.

Never goes out of date as you can update the information when needed.

I ordered 10,000 instead of 1,000 many years ago when I started selling my art. I am down to my last 2 boxes of 200 I think.

They are very useful for handing out at art markets, using as feeler gauges to judge the panel gap on cars and as roaches on joints apparently

As above, I have a recycled and reusable wooden one with a QR code as well as my details, scan the QR and my details are saved to your phone.

I use them a fair bit.
I design mine on the Moo website.
Moo link
They have some lovely templates to help.
I went for square ones last time.

Yes although I tend to just connect via LinkedIn or email details now if I haven't got any on me. I never keep the physical cards longer term.

For me they're useful if we've done a seminar or something and there's some follow up action from someone I've met for the first time. I'll scribble a couple of words on their business card to remind me to do X when I get back to the office.
