Ok so after a year of not using photo stream I thought id better back up !
Photos go on to iPhoto no problem (macbook) but what I don't want is all the pics from the macbook to go to my iPhone
How do you stop this ????? otherwise my iPhone will explode with pictures !
Untick auto upload on the Macbook
Itunes
Tick - sync pictures
Untick - automatically sync all pics
Tick - selected photos/albums
Tick all albums you want to hold in your iPhone
Sync
Ta-da

Turn photostream off and just use the manual setting through iTunes

If you've got auto import ticked and auto upload unticked on macbook then iphone photos will still end up on macbook in photostream. macbook photos will not get uploaded to photostream/iphone.
