Any graphic design bods able to help me? We have had a designer design our Jam Labels. They have provided a photoshop .psd file to allow us to be able to edit the best before date and ingredients which works great. I can export it as a pdf but two things.
We are printing to a home printer at the moment - we have stciker printer paper but I could do with getting 3 labels to each sheet of A4 to minimise waste. I also need to crop it at the bleed marks to allow us to cut them out. We have photoshop CC. I have tried googling but cant get my terminology right.
Designer has finished for the evening so cant get them to help but could do with getting some printed and on the jars tonight (first market on Sunday!)
CHeers STW!
Can you export as jpeg and use the ms photo printing page to get 3 on a page?
Yes, export as a jpeg or png into a blank page and play around with sizing the image until you can get 3-up onto a page?
Make a new a4 size image in photoshop with a white background, then cut and paste the label into the new PSD document.
I would put each label on its own layer, move them and scale them until happy then flatten the image and print away from Photoshop
If you’ve got PowerPoint, setup an a4 slide and import the pdf, duplicate and resize to get 4 on a sheet.
Edit your date.
Save a copy so you retain the designer's original layout.
Flatten the layers.
Change the canvas size to A4
Copy and paste the image around your sheet to suit.
Print.
Sorted thank. Made a eg image and then reimported into a new A4 doc in photoshop. 150 jam labels printed and read to stick on!
