Seemingly random one, but I liked it and it's actually bike related...
Rider dropping into the top of the last steep chute at Grinduro at the weekend. As per the Marshal's instructions: "Awkward corner, steep chute, aim left at the bottom..."

Today's new old lens is a Zeiss Tessar 50mm. Beautiful thing to use and love the image quality, but on the MFT body with an M42 adapter, it's focal length is just too long for anything other than close up work. Shame, as I really like the lens but it won't really work for landscape on this body.
Another day, another old lens delivered to play with. This one's a bit younger I think. A not so great Pentacon 29mm from the later era when they were rebadging other lenses.
I quite like the way it handles colour but the main issue is the 'win some lose some' of buying cheap eBay lenses - it's full of dust (see the final unprocessed image below). This isn't an issue when shooting wide open, but makes the thing pretty useless when working with smaller apertures.
It's filthy!
Snapped this last night
Quick selection from the last few weeks.
These photos are all amazingly good and a joy to see, especially with such variety. I cannot take a good photograph, I’m only slightly better than my aunt, who infamously cut off everyone’s heads 😂
I’m proud because I managed to make my underwater camera work and then get the picture from camera to iPad!
Probably not up to the high standards above but I really like this one of my bike from a couple of weeks ago.
Was out shooting for The Heb adventure race again last weekend, and we got glorious weather on the Sunday afternoon.
I haven’t really been out and about much lately, just not in the mood, but I’m really chuffed with this one from EOTR Festival:
Mid-range action camera as digital lomography stills camera? Fixed focus? Check. Automatic exposure? Check. Point and click? Check.
She wanted a silhouette photo with the sunset. Done 😬
Stunning sunset that, I saw the same last night but couldn’t get a photo as was driving…. It was a belter especially when you get the pink appearing too with the orange
It’s that time of year again.
It certainly is...
Phone pic but I am not unhappy with this. The light last night was sublime.

One of mine from the end of last month. Love the shape of the tree.

A rainbow over Ambleside last week. Not a particularly technically accomplished photo - but certainly the best shot of a rainbow I've managed to capture. Felt very privileged - it was there for maybe 5 minutes in total.
Griffon vulture in the Auvergne. It was moving very fast
I love this thread, good work folks.

Haven't posted any love them or hate them pics for a while. Currently still on a bit of a fixed focus, fixed aperture, small sensor kick at the minute.
Do still occasionally grab a 'proper' camera (or phone) though.
I really like that beach... orb photo. The colour one.
Need a like button!
Lovely stuff peeps.
Surprised how this turned out, but they were really bright. Even managed to get pretty clear video. Annoyingly there was a full moon which didn’t do anything but to highlight the dead bugs on the windscreen and confuse the autofocus.
iPhone 14 Pro, 10s exposure.
Found some cool looking 'shrooms today.
Still using stupidly crude kit to make things awkward for myself...
Was flicking through snaps from the recent holiday and this one keeps catching my eye...
Had to go digging to find this thread, no one taking their camera out in the pouring rain?
I usually avoid photos of people but I'm pleased with this.
Straight off the phone. Quite pleased with this, needs a bit of cleaning up. Helps to have a willing poser as subject!

Dour place for what should be a pleasant experience, notifying the registrar in Sheffield of my (our) intent to marry.
A couple off the phone from today. Someone likes ball and water, it was contre-jour too which can be a nightmare (I left it all to the software).
Edit for spelling mistooks
This should have been included earlier as it has the better lighting.
I took this shot 5 years ago on Ilford XP2 black & white film. When I found it & got it developed...
I finally got around to using the Portfolio section of my Adobe subscription and made this website of my wildlife photos.
I'd strongly recommend it to those of you who use Adobe; it was very simple to do and is free. You can even pull images directly from Lightroom into it, but I manually uploaded mine.
2 day trip to Scotland with my dad to see crested tits.

Edit: it spoils the joke if you fix the post.
I think thats normally a sign its been developed in b&w chems?
Density looks okay though. Might print a bit funny on multigrade paper ?
