No, not that one you filthy animals - your outside exercise time.

I'm mostly using mine to take my wee guy out for an adventure around our streets. I'm really enjoying noticing the wee things I've been taking for granted that are actually really nice when you cruise past them slowly.

Here's the mini forest my neighbour has in their garden:

Mini Forest

So, let's see what else you've noticed while out and about. Bikes optional.

Struggled today, no motivation at all. So instead took my camera into the garden and tried to take some closeup shots.

Random ride in the woods, checking out a new trail and I found this lonely signpost. 200 metres from any road or other path. Super steep so I took it easy. Less than a mile from the front door.

None of those beautiful, exciting hills you have in the north, but it's quite pretty and there's some decent gravel

About 5 miles along the Trent and Mersey and onto local woods via back lanes as far as possible, comes out as a loop of 16ish miles.

Not so pretty a pic, but here are the planes parked up at Finningley so far. 10x WizzAir, 3x TUI, 3 Virgin
DSA 25-3-20

Stuff it, embedding isn't playing for me tonight.

*Apart from your once-a-day sanctioned exercise. And don't eat all the cookies.

17km of local stuff, never more than 3.8km from home, just over an hour.

No photos yet but been out very early to do a bit of cutting back on the local stuff so that we can vary our daily exercise. Just got a 10m length of thick brambles to trim to get it clear.

Seeing as this is in the chat forum, I'm guessing running is allowed? 😀

First ever trail run for me, and I'm a convert! Much better for my longer slow run, went out with the aim of 8km, managed 8.75km and was pretty fresh at the end.

If it wasn't for the low roar of the motorway and the odd building alarm in the distance, it would have been idyllic!

Passed maybe 10 people in all, mostly people dog walking, and one bloke on roller blades!

Just got back from 1 a day. Didn't see any one out. Might have been because the wind has picked up and the temperature has dropped.

Woburn is in great shape at the moment. Had a dusk ride the other day, it was great. Walked up there today trying to patch a few persistent boggy bits.
I intended to flout the rules and go and ride later today but I'm being good and will go tomorrow.
Hope the rain stays away!

Deliberately so!

I'm actually enjoying the non-bike content on this thread the most. I'm enjoying taking the time to take more notice of the world's finer details.

Fell asleep in the sun next to the reservoir today.
So nice to feel warmth on your skin and to ride dry trails. I also did not have to wash every single thing I was wearing after!

Went a run to the shore with mum for a cold picnic, nice sunny day but bloody cold wind, 14 miles and didn't see another person the entire way, usually the roads up here would be busy due to easter holiday folk but Kirkcudbright area is deserted, brilliant for cycling though.
