I used to do all my photo fiddling on a mac, and used ImageFuser to do exposure blending; it would sort out the alignment of the images and then do the merging.
I've got a new computer that runs Windows, and I'll be buggered if I can find something that will do the same! EnfuseGUI seems the most popular, but it won't do the alignment; there are some batch files that will do it but that seems a bit backwards.
I've got Photoshop Elements that theoretically does it but it results in really bad colour banding.
There must be something that does this, surely?
