Hi all,
Making a photo book for my dad's birthday (I know...)
Will have 60-80 pictures, which will be edited/tweaked before hand, so won't need any modifying other than size/crop.
Who is best to use to design and print the book? I did one on Bonus print years ago which was fairly painless, anyone better, or decent deals out there?
Thanks,
Duane.
I used Photobox a few years back, I wouldn't say it was painless (the website was a bit shonky back then), but the results were excellent. My ol' mum makes calendars every year using them, so it must be pretty easy now 😉
Noticed they are almost half price at the mo, so worth a look.

We've had a couple done by Snapfish and been very happy with them. Keep an eye out for the promotions, which they seem to run continuously.
I use uk.foto.com
I sure seen yesteday that Aldi are doing the now.
I use Blurb.com. Bit pricy but good results. Be sure to wait until til they have a promotion - very frequent and generally at least 30% off
I went to my local BIG Boots that has a photo lab and did one there on those photo kiosks. Had it in the hour.
I use Bob Books for special occasion books, they’re not the cheapest but they do open flat books which means you don’t lose anything in the spine and can therefore have a full page spread. As per everyone else they frequently have deals on.
They also have their own design software which is very good.
