My mobile phone contract has come to an end and I'm switched to SIM only deal however I need to unlock my phone. Does anyone have any recommendations of anywhere online to do this? I'm a bit wary of some of the dodgy sites out there
Depending on your network (and maybe how long ago your contract started) you may well be able to get it unlocked for nothing - see here https://www.uswitch.com/mobiles/guides/how-to-unlock-a-phone-a-guide-to-unlocking-mobile-phones/
most networks do it for free.
Which phone? Many now now don’t lock to a network.
I'm on Vodafone and they won't unlock it because I bought it through a third party and not direct from them
Contact the third party.
I bought it from mobiles.co.uk and they are saying they can't unlock android phones
If you're anywhere near any town of any size, there'll be a shop or stall that sells mobile phone covers, chargers etc and unlocks phones.
You could switch to a SIM only package with an operator that uses the Vodaphone network then you won't need to unlock it.
