I've given my parents my old HTC Desire locked to Vodafone and I need to unlock it, I left Vodafone ages ago so I don't think they'll help.

When I search 'unlock phone' on the interweb it brings up loads of sites that say they'll send you a code for a tenner, do they actually work, and if they do which is the best site to use?

Cheers

Vodafone will be able to help although they will probably charge quite a lot to unlock.

I unlocked a Vodafone Smart Ultra via eBay for £1.69 so check there first - £10 sounds quite a lot!

Find one on eBay, pay with PayPal. As above, £10 seems a lot.

Thanks for the replies, just filled in the Vodafone form and am now waiting for a code. After my past dealings with this shabby company I was surprised at how easy it was!
