Any migraine sufferers had a PFO closure, and if so, has it helped with them?
Just wondering because I just had this done and I'm praying for great things.
I'm afraid I can't answer that question. Out of interest, who did your procedure? I need to have my PFO closed (had a stroke a couple of months ago).
Also, what did your cardiologist say about getting back on the bike and doing any real type of training?
Hey jte7. My consultant cardiologist was Dr Thorne at the QE Birmingham.
I also found out about my defect following a stroke (TIA).
As far as rehab. They asked me to do nothing strenuous for a week after the procedure (the no driving clause helps with that)and get back into training gradually. No other restrictions.
