Has anyone used this? I've long been a Gore Tex or Event advocate but affordability of the afforementioned is a consideration.
For use as general wet weather wear as opposed to cycle/run/climb specific you understand.
I've used it. Significantly better than the original Pertex Shield (without the '+') for breathability, but on the lighter weight side of things so potentially not as durable as tougher grades of Gore-Tex or eVent, though you can't really generalise. For general use it'd be fine, but might feel a little flimsy if you want a substantial-feeling jacket.
But yeah, decent enough fabric - a lot of the own-brand waterproof fabrics have developed to a point where they're almost as good or arguably in a few cases, better than the premium brands, but are significantly cheaper.
