Does anyone pay their financial advisor an annual fee for continual reviewing of their personal pension.
I think this is all stopping...
We pay ours through commission, but as of Jan this year (i.e. now...) it's all changing to 'pay as you go'.
Actually, it's better financially (for us/we) to do that...

What do you mean by pay as you go? A % of what you pay in?
It's moving to fee based rather than commission based to try and stop some of the poor behaviours we've been seeing recently.

Fee based i.e. £300 for a 90 minute consultation every year, as and when you use it.

Our company has always used fee based advice - company picks up the tab for us.
Thank you for your replies, I just wanted to make sure this was the norm.
I was told that they would keep track of my account continually to ensure it was performing well and change as necessary with my conscent as part of the annual fee.
