Moretti is always good as is Modelo , i also enjoy a Corona sometimes but my new favourite is Carlsberg Export which ive only just tried as normal Carlsburg is cat pi_s
Don't really drink lager but in the spirit of the thread.
Asahi and Kirin Ichiban are both pretty good (brewed by Sherperd's Neame I think)
Hop House 13 is pretty decent.
Not lager but Erdinger Hefewiesse and Franziskaner are very nice and refreshing on hot day and easy to find in most super markets. The alcohol free Franziskaner is possibly the nicest non alcholic beer I've ever tried too.
Here's a top tip, no decent beer comes in anything but brown bottles or cans - green and clear bottles lead to light shock and "skunked" beer. Anyone who is actually proud of their beer wouldn't put it in a green or clear bottle.
This doesn't mean all beer in brown bottles is good (far from it) but you won't find a decent beer in a green or clear bottle
A couple of hophouse 13’s go down very nicley,on hot sunny days, £2.79 from my very local Witherspoons, kept Icey cold, ideal mouth clag clearer👍🏼

I nearly agree. They are of course wheat beers. I drink a lot of Erdinger Alkoholfrei (£1.30 a bottle in Tescos) rather than Franziskaner - there's not a lot in it for taste but I think I prefer the Erdinger. It's been a great boon for dry January etc. Mysteriously you have to get age approval to buy these no/low alcohol drinks. I think Peroni tastes nice and is a safe default choice in a pub. I don't drink enough to worry about the price. Most lager brands are brewed all over the place and taste different depending on where they come from. I remember noting that when on a cross-channel ferry where the Heinken was French on the way out and Dutch on the way back.
