Ps you’re not allowed to say 26, 27.5 or 29.
We have a local market and the mrs buys lots of veg, fruit etc every couple of weeks (too heavy to carry) so she has been driving to pick it up, it’s a short distance and for ages I’ve been trying to persuade her to get a trolley or cart so we can lug it up the hill, anyway after a France holiday and seeing lots of people using them she’s prepared to give it a go.
Route involves 100 yards scalping road, quite few kerbs (but you can choose the lowered points) and a hill.
- 2 decent sized wheels, 5” appears to be the norm,
- the tripod 3 stair/ kerb climbing ones
- 4 small wheels,
I’m suspecting the 2 wheels but have no idea about trolley use, any helpful advice anppreciated, especially if you’re an experienced trolley user 😊
I have no idea how good they are but I'd get one of these https://www.trailoutdoorleisure.co.uk/folding-beach-trolley.html (or a cargo bike)
The 2/3 wheel upright ones just remind me of grannies.
Yeah I like them too but
We’ve seen lots and lots and lots of stylish French ladies with stylish scarves, stylish hats, incredibly stylish clothes, stylish shoes, fabulous jewellery, some very small dogs in strange places etc etc etc but not one of them was lugging an ever so practical trailer along …..

The 2/3 wheel upright ones just remind me of grannies.
My 23 year old daughter bought one of these for carting all her stuff into a dance music festival this weekend. I took the piss and I sincerely hope the other festival goers are too.
OP, it was from Argos, cost about 25 quid and had a 20kg weight limit. Actually seemed quite practical.
My elderly mum has one with the stair climbing set of 3 wheels. Helps her get it over kerbs. she loves it.
Shouldn't the STW answer be cargo bike?
