Wife and I have decided to go away for a weeks camping in early July.
Can anyone recommend a nice quiet campsite preferably close to the coast in Pembrokshire?
I visited a friend on this site
Its a good location but you can't actually see th sea

In July I'd say North Pembrokeshire
My pic would be Caerfai bay as you can walk into St davids
If you'd like to be within striking distance of St Davids, Caerfai Bay is a good shout. Well organised, clean facilities. Despite looking like a static caravan encampment, they've a separate field for tents well away from the caravans. May need to book in advance though.
If you'd something a bit quieter, and more away from it all, Rhosgadw farm just up from Whitesands is lovely. Bit more basic, but nice and quiet.
You can't go far wrong anywhere in Permbrokeshire - lovely place. Bear in mind the coastal campsites can be quite exposed to the prevailing wind. Solva is a quaint little town, with a few pubs to choose from - not camped there myself but you might find somewhere a bit more sheltered from the elements.
Also, if you are looking for a nice romantic meal one night, check out "cwtch" Restaurant in St Davids. You will probably need to book, but never had a bad meal there.
There is also a sheep dog training farm that does a daily show, which is quite entertaining if you like that sort of thing http://www.sheepdogtraining.co.uk/demonstrations/
Both basic campsites but location is everything..

I like the sites at Trefalen Farm, Bosherton and St Petrox, a few miles further back (more sheltered).
South Pembroke has some superb beaches, and is generally a little less busy than North Pembroke.
Some top-notch rock climbing too, but I guess that might pass you by.
EDIT: Snap to Cloudnine!
Thanks for the info guys. Much appreciated.
