Morning. I've just heard that the Council have tweaked the delay on the new traffic lights at Neidpath corner in Peebles. As a bit of info gathering, has anyone on here had any issues with the lights since they have been installed when either cycling or driving through?
Yes, me. It was WAY too short at first, I was pedalling like mad and couldn't get to the end before the ignorant drivers, who saw me coming by the way, barged past and gave me abuse.
Is much improved !! Plenty of time to get through in a bike, but definitely don't amber-gamble.
There is what looks like to be a cycle way at the side of the lights, so maybe the (original and incomplete) intention is that cyclists ignore the lights and have a free lane, like at Auchendinny ?
