I've had a long day of music listening and although various tracks send me back to different times in my life I was just thinking when my interest in music peaked and could it be isolated to a single track. I came to the conclusion that it's this;
For me the pinnacle, maybe not the best track ever, I can list quite a few more in my own 'top 10', but a time when I thought music was more important to me than it has been since.
I'd be interested to know when the STW majority peaked.
Still not peaked at 49. LTAB is an incredible piece of music though. Probably in my top 10 too.
Many peaks and a few troughs throughout my musical life. Couldn't stand Ride though! Very much a John Peel listener at the time, but they never made it onto my cassettes.
