A lot of the Teslas I see around here tend to be driven very 'enthusiastically', which is not something I'd want to do in such an obviously poor quality car.
Not the greatest flag-bearer for the development of autonomous/semi-autonomous cars if that's the company's attitude to safety-critical stuff.
