I've got some days off this week and was fancying myself a mini mtb epic in the peaks somewhere, ride a bike to somewhere, have lunch and a swim in the sun and then cycle back.
So I'm after any recommendations for preferably quiet places I could take a dip. River, pond or lake spots. Dark or white peak or elsewhere in Derbyshire, thanks.
Chatsworth river. But do NOT swallow the water!
Not many actual swim locations, but there is a good plunge pool at the beginning of Cut Gate (which obviously forms a good ride).
