For my wife's Chrsitmas present, I'm going to wall mount a computer monitor with Kodi on a Firestick in the bathroom.

She loves baths and this should be better than a Mac Book precariously balanced on the loo for her bath time viewing.

It only just occurred to me that the monitor itself doesn't have any audio. Am I flogging a dead horse using a PC monitor when a TV would do better. The monitor has DSUB and DVI only.

Better ways of doing it?

Thanks

Tv would be better but f you wanted to use a monitor, just stream audio from source using a Bluetooth speakers

Just a tablet works fine, iPad/Lenovo whatever.

Quite expensive though midlife, plus I have a nice 30" monitor all ready.

Fair enough if it's a run what you've got scenario. I have a Dell AX510 speaker bar here, AX511 and HP LCD Speaker Bar are worth googling too, both types just use a single USB, no faffing with audio.
