I cancelled the transaction and the refund is pending , how long does it take for money to be back in paypal balance ?
seller wants its money but I cant have it coming out twice of my account ( uk account and now living abroad ) .
IME, it can be up to 10 days for a refund to clear, but check your actual account. PayPal have stated Pending when the money was in my account and Completed when nothing had been transferred. Don't trust what it says.
Paypal is usually pretty damn quick in my experience. Never had to wait more than a couple of days.
What happens if the incorrect recipient has already moved the money?
Then they owe PayPal the difference.
Mine took a week. Obvs it’s quicker the if the recipient just refunds you ASAP, but they might not.
