I received a replacement credit card a couple of days ago as my old one expired; same number but new expiration date and CVC number.
I've just been going thru various third party accounts such Netflix, Strava, Zwift & Google to update the credit card details so subscriptions aren't interupted.
Yet when I logged onto PayPal (which I very rarely use - it's only used for Veloviewer automated annual payments..), the credit card expiration date had already been updated.
Do banks or third parties feed this data to PayPal?
(Or did I already update PayPal myself in my sleep? Or do I have Alzheimer's? 🥺)

Yes, there are account updater services for just this purpose - linky to Visa's
