On a pay as you go SIM, once you have topped up does that credit has an expiry date?

Or will it depend on the network?

I have been using Virgin PAYG sim for as long as I know with no expiry date.

Not sure about other network coz I have never used them before.

Pretty sure o2 does not expire, as I've got one in my car that's not been topped up in over 12 months and still working.

Orange top ups lasted my daughter a month, same as monthly payment really so couldn't see the point of keeping it going but my orange used to last years as I never used it.

My top up is about £30 a year ... nobody to call or to text. 😆
