Just posted these in the mouse recommendation thread but I thought I'd ask if anyone else had come across some mad/appalling designs in other fields of human endeavour?
This is called The Brain Mouse... But looks suspiciously like another part of anatomy not that close to the brain.
Then there is this wonder of ergonomic design.
What wonders of design have you lot come across in the 'net or irl?

Floating stairs genuinely scare me. Just looking at them gives me thoughts of a family member snapping a limb. Just a mad design idea. I can manage to fall down (and up) a standard staircase with alarming regularity.
I like how the person using those stairs has even taken their shoes off to ensure maximum sock slippage and increasing their chances of a certain death!

My first thought on seeing that floating staircase was needing socks with grippy soles, and a phone at the top, middle and bottom, for quick access to emergency services.
That Ambra mouse has my carpal tunnel issue aching just looking at it! My studio manager at a former job had one of the Mac ‘hockey puck’ mice, and my hand hurt just looking at the damn thing, and that’s long before I was doing the job that has actually caused the damage I have now. Horrid thing! 😖
I do love the Raiders candle, though! That’s just a wonderful thing, and I want one! Actually two, there’s someone I know would love it. 🤣
