Quick one.

I have a 2-3 person Blacks tunnel tent where the outer seems just fine but the built in groundsheet for the inner is crumbling away (age related degradation).

It's 20 or so years old and owes me nothing and no use to me any more but reluctant to send it to landfill.

Anyone know of a charitable cause or other use that might make use of this sort of thing before it becomes landfill.

Nothing leapt out of a Google search.

Local scout or DofE group? Ideal for practising putting tents up.

Good call. Thanks. Guess it might be of use as a store tent too. My own kids go to the cubs/beavers and neither me or Mrs g d thought of the bleeding obvious! It's been a busy weekend!

Took mine to the tip, in the 'rehousing' section - 8 man tent just more than a bit past its prime, we'd bought our 'perfect' tent for some longer holidays abroad.

Someone picked it up and put it on FaceBook Marketplace for £100 which wasn't quite what I'd hoped for.

Luckily it still hasn't sold and is being whittled away by £10 a week (down to 40 now). I like to think he trips over the frickin thing every single morning.
