My wife has a small business, I'm a partner but don't receive an income.
I've done my self assessment.
I've registered about 3 weeks ago for an activation code to go the self assessment for the partnership. Which still hasn't arrived Always used an accountant in the past but with profits down we have chosen not to do this this year.
So I thought I understood what I need to do, but I can't work out how our if I can submit an sa800 as a self assessment. Is this online? Do I need special software?
Bloody HMRC website is as clear as mud.
I've left it late although I realise there aren't any penalties this year until end of Feb.
You can’t submit a partnership return through hmrc online, you need to do it via some software unfortunately.
