Having just bought a Vespa, I had half a notion to buy a fishtail parka... I know, I know, it's a slippery slope!

Anyway, since thinking about buying a parka, I'm seeing them everywhere! I see a lot of girls and women wearing them, and some clothes shops have wall-to-wall displays of them. They're not the original US army-issue ones, and some are a neater cut, and quite stylish. Have they always been popular, or is there currently a resurgence in parkas as a fashion item?

I just found my old leather bike jacket, Weise one. Going to use it over wintee for my field archery shoots. No need for the bracer 🙂

Whats the best way to rejunvanate dry leather.

Sorry for interloping on a Mod thread 😉

PS I had a Honda Hornet so I'm allowed to wear biker jacket 😉

Dry leather... damp cloth.

Not hand cream or any other such nonsense

I've not tried it, but it seems that DucksWax would be a good option to rejuvenate leather.

In light of the recent down jacket thread, I'm unable to guarantee that DucksWax hold death certificates for their dead ducks.

They're back in fashion it seems, fair few teenages going to the college the back of my office wearing them, plus teenage kids of colleagues, wish I'd have kept mine now.

90's fasions are being taken over by early 2000's, gonna dust of ny chunky Road cords and my blue and white addidas superstars.

Or you could try neats foot oil. Softens it up a treat.

I used saddle soap on my crusty leather shorts.

Worked a treat, lovely and soft again. No chaffing
