Can anyone recommend a removal company to relocate all or sh1t from London to North Wales.

Never needed one before but this time we want everything packed and moved safely.

All recommendations/experiences will be gratefully accepted.

When we did a big move Pickfords were great for packing, storing and delivering.

Was 15 years ago mind, and we weren't paying!

Lolz good luck with that.. Removal companies generally aren't as careful with your stuff as you are 🙂

We're moving to the Llyn Peninsular - We'll be in Abersoch 😳 until we buy somewhere.

For packing or actually moving stuff?

Strangely, I've always found the fact that Pickfords were responsible for breaking anything that they had packed rather focused their minds.

Email alan @ abmoves dot com

He moved us recently, packed everything meticulously, hauled furniture over a balcony etc and not a glass was cracked.

Independent, and seems to be very busy through word of mouth. Based around Fulham I think.

That's what I've heard they seem to be well recommended.

Thanks Snowy I'll drop Alan an email to see if he can give us a quote.

These guys were exceptional when I moved from South East London to Kent earlier this year. Good value, on time, very courteous and careful and very quick.

Pickford is a good recommendation. That being said try and find a company local to your new place in Wales, always good to try and support local business.

I did am thinking about going for a Welsh company but we'd like everything packed as well, so I'm not sure how that would work.

Would they stay in their truck, a Hotel etc. Plus the minute they find out we're moving to Absersoch, they'd add Tw4t Tax as they probably think we're those well heeled types who sail boats and drive Range Rovers.

When my parents moved to Devon a Devon firm was a lot cheaper than a Surrey one.
So I'd look in Wales.

I used bournes as they did international but they do normal stuff too. Efficient and very careful lost a plate and wine glass moving from Lancashire to tasmania by sea. The speed and efficiency of the packing makes it hard to self move again.
