Very enjoyable show last night, with a bargain 'bonus' 15 extra minutes.
I wonder how tasty the edible dormouse would be in a winter casserole.

I think Packham has a bet with the producer.
He's had so many black Cock, pussy, tits and beaver jokes over the years....

Mark Steel in Town recently went to Tring - lots of edible dormouse discussion

Am I the only one missing Gillian's beaver?

We saw quite a lot of dead birds on Holy Island in July. It's been a terrible year for avian flu

Don't get edible dormice in your loft. A friend had them in his loft and they shredded the covers of his vinyl collection.

Interesting (but long) look at the OTHER Pandemic from an always interesting contributor - it's pretty grim reading, if necessary.

Agreed. South Fife had a lot of dead guillemots and/or razorbills a couple of weeks ago, and rather too many gannets in the spring to boot. All very distressing.
