Are they a complete nightmare to deal with or ok?
They're great. Been with them for two years. Cheap as chips too.
yep been with them 2 years also and they are very easy to deal with and do accurate billing if you pass them meter readings though the web app.
Could not be happier with them, compared to our experience with someof the big 6...it's like they actually care.

I've got them too. Very happy. We're on a fixed rate (my 2nd one, I renewed after the first one I did with them expired) and last month when I entered the meter reading it showed we had used less gas than expected. It immediately recommended a lower direct debit and asked if I wanted a refund paid into my account.
On our second fix with them. As others have said, cheap as chips and dead straightforward to deal with. Whats not to like?
Another one here, again been with them for around 2 years.
Only problem I had was unable to access my account online with them initially but sorted within 24hrs via email.
Bills are simple and easy to read, account is dead easy to manage online and if you are in credit on your account they pay interest back into your account(its not alot but can't see British Gas & Co doing that).
Not used any of the Big 6 for years and certainly would not be in a rush too again.
Been with them just over a year now. Prices were the lowest when I switched, new website's great, and easy to deal with over the phone - called them up just before Christmas to change the amount I was paying (had been overpaying) and refunded the overpayment without a problem. Superb, I'll be sticking with them for the foreseeable.
