Cycling the Purbeck bimble route this weekend with a friend. Trying to currently find some place to park overnight. Does any one know of decent spots to park overnight? Can only find charges in the carparks up to 1-2 hours, can you park for longer?
Looking at Sika trail carpark, website says parts of the forest are closed due to a forest fire though.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
Don't know about the car parks, but I think I'd try to find some on-street parking in the town somewhere if not - wouldn't fancy leaving my car overnight in one of the forest car parks.
(Was in the vicinity of Sika trail yesterday, didn't encounter any closures.)

I park on Sandford road just by the train station all day to halve my commute if I can't be arsed cycling all the way from home to work. It is quiet and there are no parking restrictions. Only a 10 minute walk in to town too.
Plenty of options in reality. If you want to go 'official' then probably the train station is the best option. Protected by CCTV, but probably a bit spendy
