You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I've been asked to block out a recurring item on our Outlook calendar for work. Specifically, the last consecutive Tues-Weds-Thurs of every month. And... it doesn't seem possible, unless I'm being a plum.
If I do it as an all day event I can do it in one entry, but I don't want it as an all-day event, I want it as working hours. This seems to mean I need three separate daily events. Fine, except, if I select "the last..." and the month ends midweek then instead of Tues-Weds-Thurs I might get Thurs-Tues(next week)-Weds. Picking "4th week" just shifts the problem to if the week starts midweek, it takes it to mean the 4th Wednesday rather than Week 4.
Am I missing something blindingly obvious here?
Pretty sure you'll need three recurring events for each day you want repeated.
... which is fine if I can force them to be consecutive rather than split across two weeks.
Sadly it's sometimes quicker just to key it manually rather than force stupid software to do not very clever things. But you know that already 😉
No-one else have any ideas?
Have I found something STW can't answer?
could you generate it in some other calendar programme and import it ?
That’s the edgeiest of edge cases,
You could probably do something in VBA but TBH, I’d just whack them in manually.
