There's an outdoor switch in my back garden with a plastic cover over it, my new shed is about 2 metres further down the garden, ow would you get power to it? Just an extension lead or is there anything better?

It's 2 outdoor plug sockets in one of those waterproof plastic cases.

Saying that, there is a light down there I'm yet to try to get working that is connected to the mains.

I'm getting armoured cable with a similar set up, although it's going around the back of the raised beds so it's a bit of a hike.

My workshop was powered by an 50m extension lead draped over the fence for about 2 years. Eventually I replaced this with a dedicated cable in a steel tube, which is fixed to a Cant rail on the fence.

Might have to just go with a normal extension and try and hide it then I reckon.
