So now our house is filled with silence and vacant, confused faces...;-)
Seriously though, we don't watch it much, but it's nice to have occasionally and it seems a shame that my daughter can't watch her favourite Disney films. Can anyone recommend a reasonable cheap tv - ideally 32" if I'm going to bother getting one. We have never had a non-crt tv and I don't know what to get. Failing that if anyone in the Malvern/Ross on Wye area has an old CRT they can't get rid of I would be pleased to rid you of it.

Should more than suffice...

Thank you, I had forgotten about the existence of Richer Sounds. When I used to use them for Hi-Fi stuff years ago they never used to have any of the stuff you wanted in stock, but I guess it's worth checking out. Hopefully they've improved!
The last time ours died I went on ebay and within 2 hours picked up another for less than £5 from 6 miles away.
It retailed for four figures back in the day.
I've got a 12-18month ish old Toshiba of about that size I'd part with for a nominal fee; 100 sovs maybe. Postage might be a bugger though.
Where are you Cougar?
East Lancs.
Shame - I've got a lovely Philips CRT with stand that's virtually spotless sat in storage doing nothing
Freecycle... pick one up free!
Have a big philips CRT, that will be available in a month or so FOC as being given another CRT (posher) as parents in law are moving and want a Flat screen.
If anybody wants it mail me 😀
